Our Mets “Ya Gotta Read” Reading Challenge is happening now, and it all wraps up on Wednesday, April 1st! Let’s finish strong, readers! ⚾📖
Students should make sure to log their reading every single day to earn amazing Mets prizes! Check out what you can win:
🏅 60 minutes of reading = Mr. Met Bookmark
🔑 180 minutes = Mrs. Met Keychain
📓 300 minutes = Mets Notebook
🏟️ 600 minutes = HOME RUN! → 2 Mets Tickets!
But that’s not all…
👕 The class that logs the MOST reading will score Mets jersey crossbody bags!
✨ And one SUPER lucky student who logs the MOST minutes overall will win:

Our students have been working hard and showing their best selves every day—earning red PAWS BUCKS for positive behaviors like:

✔️ Excellent listening
✔️ And so much more!

Now it’s time for them to cash in their PAWS BUCKS for awesome prizes! 🎁
Students will:

2️⃣ Fill out an order form
3️⃣ Have their prizes delivered right to their classroom! 🚚💨

On Wednesday February 4th, we’re celebrating two wonderful events: Climate Action Day and World Read-Aloud Day! 💚📚

🌍 Climate Action Day
Join us in making small changes that make a big difference:
✨ Turn off lights when they’re not in use
✨ Reduce time on computers, tablets, and other electronics

📖 World Read-Aloud Day
Spend time reading with your children! Sharing stories builds connection, strengthens literacy, and makes great memories.

💡📚 A Perfect Combination!
As you participate in Climate Action Day and cut down on electronics, use that extra time to enjoy a good book together. It’s a simple way to help our planet and help your child grow as a reader.
