A Message from P.S. 123Q's New Principal, Mrs. Johnston
Dear Families,
It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of P.S. 123Q. I bring over 20 years of experience within the New York City Department of Education, having served in various roles that have shaped my commitment to student success, and community partnership. I am deeply committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported.
As an educator, a mother of three, and someone who has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds, I understand the importance of creating a school environment where every child feels safe, welcomed, and inspired to learn. My journey in education has been driven by a passion for helping students thrive both academically and personally, and I am thrilled to continue that work here at P.S. 123Q.
This first month, my goal is simple yet powerful: to show our students how happy we are that they are here. I look forward to learning about our school community, building strong relationships with families and staff, and together, we will continue the positive momentum already in place.
