Academic Intervention Program (Grades 3 to 5)
ACADEMIC INTERVENTION RUNS FROM 2:20 - 4:10 pm
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Parents should speak with their child’s teacher to see if the Academic Intervention Program is a good fit for their child. If it is, the teacher will send home a permission slip for students to join!

This Orr That? SEL Games & Skills with Ms. Orr
Mondays or Fridays
This Orr That? SEL Games & Skills with Ms. Orr is a fun, small-group after-school activity focused on building strong social and emotional skills. Through interactive games, discussion, and playful decision-making, students practice communication, cooperation, and self-awareness. Participants learn how to express feelings, listen to others, and make positive choices in a supportive environment. The group setting encourages friendships, empathy, and respect for different perspectives. With Ms. Orr’s guidance, students grow confidence while learning skills they can use at school, at home, and with peers every day.

Artistic Alchemy:

Artistic Alchemy invites young creators to mix imagination with technique, transforming everyday materials into magical masterpieces. Through painting, sculpting, and playful design challenges, students explore self-expression while building artistic confidence. STEM-tastic Wizards is where imagination meets innovation! Young learners become magical engineers, coding conjurers, and potion-mixing scientists as they explore the wonders of STEM through spellbinding hands-on activities. Each session blends creativity, teamwork, and discovery—igniting a love for learning that feels like pure wizardry.

What’s the Tea?
Sharing Stories, Building Skills!

Step into the spotlight with What’s the Tea, a dynamic social media and communication club designed for students in grades 3–5! This exciting program helps young voices shine by teaching the art of storytelling, reporting, and digital content creation.
Students will learn how to:
- Conduct mock interviews to build confidence and curiosity.
- Write journal-style reports that capture school events and student perspectives.
- Create and post fun, age-appropriate content that informs and entertains.
- Collaborate to produce a school newspaper filled with updates, features, and student highlights.
Along the way, students will strengthen their communication skills, learn how to make meaningful connections, and become thoughtful digital citizens. Whether they dream of being a reporter, influencer, or editor, What’s the Tea is the perfect place to start!

The New Writers Club:
Creative Writing & Storytelling

The New Writers Club invites students in grades 3–5 to explore the exciting world of storytelling and self-expression! In this fun and interactive club, young writers will learn how to craft short stories, poems, and other creative pieces while discovering the art of editing and the publishing process. Through imaginative writing prompts, group activities, and peer sharing, students will build confidence in their writing skills and develop their unique voices. Whether they dream of becoming authors or just love to write, The New Writers Club is the perfect space to create, collaborate, and celebrate creativity!

Game On! SEL Games with Ms. Bell

Game On! SEL Games with Ms. Bell is a fun and engaging after-school activity where 3rd–5th grade students build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills through exciting group games and challenges. Each week, students will play games that encourage positive social interaction, empathy, and creative thinking. With Ms. Bell’s guidance, students will learn how to work together, manage emotions, and build confidence—all while having a blast!

Glitch Squad is where curious kids become coding superheroes—tackling digital mysteries, fixing bugs, and unleashing their creativity through games and storytelling. Parents love seeing their children grow as problem-solvers while having a blast in a safe, supportive environment.

Leadership Academy

Leaders & Legends: Leadership Academy is an action-packed program where students build real leadership skills through fun, high-energy team games and challenges.
Participants learn how to organize themselves and guide a group by modeling positive behavior, communicating clearly, and working together to solve problems. Through hands-on activities, students practice connecting, supporting, and encouraging others while growing into confident, responsible leaders.

1-2-3-GO! Sports

1-2-3-GO! Sports is a high-energy after-school program where students build teamwork, confidence, and athletic skills through fun, fast-paced games and challenges. Each week, participants explore a mix of sports like soccer, basketball, and relay races designed to keep everyone moving and engaged. It’s the perfect mix of fitness, friendship, and fun—ready, set, GO!

Imagination Station Art Club:
Where Creativity Comes to Life!

Welcome to Imagination Station, an exciting and inspiring art club designed especially for students in grades 3–5! This vibrant program invites young artists to explore their creativity and develop hands-on skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Students will dive into a variety of artistic activities, including:
- Drawing & Painting: Learn techniques to bring ideas to life on paper and canvas.
- Costume Jewelry Making: Design and create unique wearable art pieces.
- Sculpture Building: Use different materials to construct imaginative 3D creations.
- Poster Design: Express messages and themes through bold, colorful visuals.
- Vision Boards: Set goals and dreams using collage and mixed media.
Whether your child is a budding artist or just loves to create, Imagination Station is the perfect place to explore new skills, make friends, and let their imagination soar!

Step Dance with Ms. Orr

Fridays
“Orriginal 123 Steppers” is a high-energy step dance team where students use rhythm, claps, stomps, and movement to create powerful routines together.
Students build teamwork and confidence while celebrating body positivity and learning how every dancer’s voice and movement matters.
Through positive communication and practice, the team works together to create exciting performances full of rhythm, pride, and Orriginal style! 💃🥁👏
All Clubs have a limit of 15 spots (except)

FAIRNESS RULE: We want to give as many students as possible a chance to join clubs. Most of our clubs happen in three sessions: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Students who haven’t joined a club, yet this year will get to sign up first. Students who have already been to a club will go on a waitlist and hear from Mr. Brian before the session begins.
